Children’s Advocacy Center

Children’s Advocacy Center, 910 North Granbury Street, Cleburne, Texas   76033, 817-558-1599. The Children's Advocacy Center of Johnson County was formed to protect and serve the youngest and most helpless victims in our society, children.  The Children's Advocacy Center works closely with law enforcement agencies and trained professional investigators within a "child friendly" environment to provide the services  needed  for these young victims and  non-offending family  members.

Cleburne Pregnancy Center

Cleburne Pregnancy Center, 1200 W Henderson, Cleburne TX 76033 817-641-7741. A non-profit pregnancy resource center dedicated to providing women and men with accurate, up-to-date information in order to make informed decisions about pregnancy, sexual health and relationships. Because everyone should have access to this information, all our services are free of charge. *All communication is kept confidential.

Family Crisis Center

Family Crisis Center, 817-641-2343, 817-641-2332. The Family Crisis Center’s mission is to eliminate family violence and sexual assault. We provide shelter and support services to enable survivors to live Violence-Free. Through educational programs, we will encourage active community participation in reforming the conditions and perceptions that perpetuate family violence and sexual assault. Our vision, leadership, and actions empower survivors.

H.O.P.E. Clinic

H.O.P.E. Clinic, 111 Meadowview, Cleburne 76033, 817-641-5858. H.O.P.E. - Healing * Outreach * Professional * Endeavor. Staffed by Fully Certified Local Volunteers, Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners. $5 to the Patient. Serving the uninsured and low income people of Johnson County

Operation Blessing

Operation Blessing, 105 George St., Cleburne, TX 76031, 817-645-4103 is a Faith-based organization whose mission is to share God's Word and His love, and to let that love flow through to those who are hurting and in need. The organization is staffed by volunteers, most of whom have served faithfully for many years. Food, clothing, and furniture is given to those in need. Their services and ministries include: Program for Medical Assistance and The Venting Place – Faith Based Counseling Center.

The Venting Place - Faith Based Counseling Center specializes in Christian counseling and therapy for the whole person SPIRIT-SOUL-BODY. Program for Medication Assistance is a program that is available to persons with low or no income and persons with NO private insurance for medication coverage.

Afghans for Afghans is a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that sends hand-knit and crocheted blankets and garments to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan.

ANGELS FOR HOPE

This organization sends crocheted angels to severely injured and/or chronically ill people, as well as their caregivers, or just someone that needs hope - as a tangible reminder that they are not alone, that others care, and that you are remembered in their thoughts and prayers.

Binky Patrol

A binky is a homemade blanket that can be sewn, knitted, crocheted or quilted. This organization distributes blankets to children in need of comfort across the country.

Bundles of Love

Bundles of Love is an all volunteer non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of Minnesota to help infants and their families.

Care Wear

Care Wear is a nationwide group of volunteers who knit, crochet, and/or sew, providing handmade baby items to hospitals. All Care Wear items are given free to infants, children and their parents.

Chemo Caps

Chemo Caps is a group of knitters that donate their time by making hand-knit caps for cancer patients in hospital oncology units and hospice.

CureCaps Hat Project

This is a grassroots effort that relies on volunteers from around the world to help fight deadly neurological diseases like Niemann Pick Type C by making hats to raise money for brain research.

CUREchief®

Dolly Hugs

This site offers a free doll pattern for you to make and give to whatever organization you prefer. Dolly Hugs is designed to "hug" the child that holds her. Her arms will wrap around the child's neck and her face will press against the child's cheek, bestowing a little kiss.

The Hugs Project

This group is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all our Military Service Members serving in the desert. They send care packages to the troops that include, among other things, home-made 'hugs' (cooling necktie) and flat bears. Learn more about these items and find patterns too.

Love Letters: Random Cards of Kindness, Inc.

Their goal is to create positive and inspirational homemade cards for children with life-threatening illnesses. They also hope to inspire others to establish chapters in their hometowns.

We are a non-profit organization that makes hand-made blankets and quilts. These are then distributed to children of all ages in need.

This popular project was created to give comfort and security to shelter animals as they await their new homes.

Changing the world one pair at a time. Soles4Souls facilitates the donations of shoes, which are used to aid the hurting worldwide.

Stitches from the Heart

Stitches from the Heart is a non-profit organization that sends handmade clothing, blankets, and love to premature babies all across the nation. We also have a senior program that helps seniors help others by donating yarn and supplies.

This organization provides teddy bears to children in need all over the world.

Touching Little Lives

Their mission is to touch the lives of needy premature and newborn infants in Ohio, to do all that they can to give them, free of any charge, the necessities that every newborn needs.

Their Mission is to collect donated quilts and distribute them to children around the world so, they can be wrapped in the love and comfort.
